The Innovation Research Forum:
A unique forum for exchanges to find out about the latest technological advancements in Process Engineering.


With the support of partner organizations and researchers the Innovation Research Forum proposes a platform for exchanges on the latest processes through a conference cycle freely open to all IPA visitors. With more than 1,000 auditors in 2006, the Innovation Research Forum broke attendance records. The Forum has now become a key complement to the exhibition visit for all trade visitors looking out for the latest R&D work and innovations which are the mainspring of growth for the food industries.

Every year, the IPA Innovation Competition Award recognizes the industry's most outstanding innovations proposed by IPA exhibitors in their declarations of new products.

The Judging Panel, composed of journalists, members of the IPA Strategic Committee, and key users and institutions, awards 5 prizes:

  • "Process Equipment" Award, MULTIFILIERE special
  • "Process Equipment" Award, MATIC special
  • "Ancillary Equipment / Process Control" Award, MULTIFILIERE special
  • "Ancillary Equipment / Process Control" Award, MATIC special
  • Ministry of Agriculture and Fishery's Special Award.

    The Judging Panel reserves the right to give a special award, outside the above categories, to a specifically outstanding innovation
